Support comes in many forms. Creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and community is an important part of caring for those navigating cancer and survivorship. We are excited to offer Cast, Catch, and Connect, providing men in our community a space to step outside, connect, and experience support in a meaningful new way.
A relaxed evening of fishing, food, and connection for men navigating cancer or survivorship. This event is free for men navigating cancer currently or survivors who have a history of cancer who may benefit from stepping outside, learning something new, and connecting with others who “get it.”
You’ll have the chance to:
- Share a fish fry meal
- A fly-fishing demo, handcrafted boat display, and a free lure to take home
- Tips from a Missouri conservation agent on local fishing
- An introduction to Reel Recovery (fly-fishing retreats for men with cancer) – Learn more about Reel Recovery featured on the Today Show
- Connect with other men in a low-pressure setting
