  • Two days of hospital orientation
  • Pharmacy department policies and procedures
  • Computer training
  • ACLS certification

Introductory Rotations (2 weeks)

  • Informatics / automated dispensing, IV Room, IV nutrition
  • Anticoagulation management, Kinetics (vancomycin and aminoglycoside dosing)

Core Rotations (5 weeks)

  • Critical Care
  • Cardiology
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Infectious Disease
  • Internal Medicine I and II
  • Mental Health
  • Oncology

Longitudinal Rotations

  • Drug Information
  • Management Series
  • Geriatrics – every Monday
  • Research (including dedicated week to work on your project in early spring)

Electives

  • 3 x 1-week rotations to gain experience in an area of interest (i.e. endocrinology, nephrology, neurology, etc.) or repeat a core rotation listed above
