Bio
Dr. Perry is a board-certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. where he received the Gene Rubin Award for outstanding potential for an academic career from the Washington University School of Medicine. He received his doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
“I’ve wanted to be a physician since I can remember,” says Dr. Perry. “I find mental illness fascinating, and it is so rewarding to guide someone out of the darkness of these severe illnesses.”
Dr. Perry treats major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, secondary psychotic disorders and treatment resistant depression. He also performs electroconvulsive therapy as a procedure.
