Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. Dr. Ahmad speaks English, Urdu and Pashto.
Dr. Ahmad treats patients with coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He performs echocardiograms, cardiac CT scans and calcium scoring, stress tests and vascular studies.
He is certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
