“I sit with my patients and we share our lives together. I get to know my patients as people. I also love the preventative side of cardiology and we are helping patients get better quicker.”

Karen earned her master’s in nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Mo.  She has a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Karen is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Karen treats patients with heart failure, chest pain, coronary artery disease and irregular or abnormal heartbeat. She also works with patients who have had heart attacks.
