Why did you choose Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville?
I am a proud alumni of Northwest Missouri State University and as their saying goes, “Once a Bearcat, Always a Bearcat,” really rings true for me. I am not originally from Maryville, but I have come to love this small town and have chosen to lay down roots and raise my family here. I personally know and adore many of the team members in the Mosaic Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, so it was a no-brainer to apply to work with this group of talented, caring individuals. It is apparent in the work that they do that they genuinely care about the patients they serve, and that is definitely an environment that matches my own values.
Why did you choose to become a behavioral health provider?
I have always found the mind and human behavior to be fascinating so that is what initially drove me to this field. However, I stay in this field because it is a truly incredible feeling and honor to witness my patients transform themselves and overcome situations they never thought possible. It has always been so life-giving for me to help others to see that they are resilient and their life has purpose.
