Brian Libel, PT
Brian has 30 years of experience in treatment of outpatient therapy patients including orthopedic, sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation and work conditioning/work hardening, as well as extensive management experience. Brian is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. Brian enjoys mountain biking, boating and spending time with his family and dogs.
Julie Weiss, PT
Julie has been a Physical Therapist for 30 years. She has work experience in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, long–term acute care, outpatient sports medicine, skilled nursing and outpatient orthopedics. She has experience in outpatient therapy program development as well as prior experience in supervision and management. Julie’s areas of special interest are orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with family, attending her kids’ sporting events, vacationing in the mountains, playing with her dogs and sports and nature photography.
Doug Lenners, PT, ATC
Doug has more than 20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, also working as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Doug is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. Doug’s special areas of interest are orthopedic and sports medicine, and he is certified in Graston Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping and Fascial Distortion Model manual therapy technique. In his spare time, Doug enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Jeremy Sybert, PT
Jeremy has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings including skilled nursing, home health and orthopedics. Jeremy has been actively involved in both recreational and high school level sports, and he enjoys attending all of his children’s extracurricular activities.
Gary Higer, OTR/L
Gary has 25 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist working in a variety of clinical settings including home health, outpatient, industrial rehabilitation and work hardening. Gary has focused the last 20 years on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation and specializes in custom splint fabrication. In his free time, Gary enjoys camping, water sports, spending time with his family, woodworking, mechanics, playing guitar and watching University of Nebraska athletics.
Jody Franken, PTA, ATC
Jody has been a Physical Therapy Assistant and Certified Athletic Trainer for more than 25 years. He is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas and provides therapy treatment and athletic training to Missouri Western State University as well as Highland Community College. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages, being on the sidelines and assisting in return to sport. Jody’s special areas of interest are rehabilitation of sports–related injuries and total joint replacement. In his free time, Jody enjoys being in the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Brenda Bauman, PTA, ATC
Brenda is a Physical Therapy Assistant and Certified Athletic Trainer with nearly 30 years of experience. She has extensive experience working in orthopedics and sports medicine, providing sideline and game coverage for local high schools. Brenda is passionate about her career and giving back to her community by serving on several advisory committees and MWSU PTA selection committee. Brenda enjoys gardening and spending time with family.
Kaydrie Bergner, OTD, OTR/L
Kaydrie received her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from the College of Saint Mary where she focused her studies on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, canine assisted intervention and outpatient pediatric care. Prior, Kaydrie received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Wellness from Northwest Missouri State University where she was a collegiate athlete and a member of multiple organizations. Kaydrie is passionate about mastering her rehab skills and is currently working on the prerequisites to become a Certified Hand Therapist. Kaydrie enjoys kicking a soccer ball around and playing golf with her family in her free time.
