What is BiTE Therapy?
Mosaic Life Care Cancer Care is a pioneer in new bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapy, which uses your body’s own immune system to fight cancer tumor cells with extraordinary accuracy. It works by assisting T cells, which normally struggle to recognize cancer, find and kill cancer cells. BiTE acts like a lasso — one end attaches to a T cell, the other to a cancer cell — pulling them together so the T cell can attack. Though the name sounds like sci-fi, it perfectly describes the therapy: engaging T cells to destroy cancer.
