Mosaic Life Care offers many resources for cancer patients and their loved ones to help you better understand and navigate the cancer-care process. These cancer resources include transportation and prescription assistance as well as community outreach programs and support groups.

Find out how you can help support these programs.

Prescription Assistance

Mosaic Life Care providers participate in the 340B prescription discount program with a number of local pharmacies. The 340B program provides discounted pricing for prescriptions that qualify. If you have questions or for more information, call the oncology social worker at (816) 271-7657.

Community Resources

There are countless area agencies and service providers that offer support services to members in our community — from domestic violence hotlines, substance abuse assistance and temporary housing to childhood education, adult literacy, food banks and legal resources. Learn more and download a comprehensive list of community resources available to patients, families and beyond.

Patient Assistance Fund

For those who qualify, Mosaic Life Care offers a Patient Assistance Fund to help with costs that cannot be covered by any other resources, such as transportation, medication, rent, temporary lodging and more. The Patient Assistance Fund follows Mosaic Life Care’s financial assistance policy for determining who qualifies. For more information, call (816) 271-7657.

Support Groups

Mosaic Life Care offers learning-focused support groups to provide cancer education as well as emotional support throughout the cancer-care experience. These groups are available to patients, family members and friends, and patients are encouraged to attend with loved ones for additional support. For more information, call our Oncology Social Worker at (816) 271-7657.

Interpreter Services

Mosaic Life Care works with Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living for interpreter needs. We consider it a priority to have face-to-face translation services whenever possible. For more information, call (816) 271-7657.
