Overview

Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) is an allergic response. Diagnosis involves skin testing and viewing of the nasal passages and sinuses.

Symptoms

It is characterized by itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, nasal congestion and itching, and runny nose that occurs seasonally or year-round.

Treatments

Antihistamine medications can reduce symptoms.
