Baby acne
Overview
Baby acne often develops within two to four weeks after birth. It may look worse when a baby is fussing or crying. Babies also develop tiny, white bumps known as milia.
Symptoms
Symptoms include small, red bumps or pustules on a baby's cheeks, nose, and forehead.
Treatments
The acne isn't preventable and usually goes away on its own. If it lasts several months, a pediatrician may recommend a medicated cream.
