• Bluish cast to baby's lips or skin during a crying episode
• Changes in baby's eating, sleeping, or behavior

Self-care

Try offering a pacifier, turning on white noise, or gently rocking baby in arms or in a swing. If frustration runs high, let someone else take over or place baby in a crib.
