Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection. It affects people of all ages but is most common in young people.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include genital pain and discharge from the vagina or penis. Many who have it don't develop signs or symptoms but can infect others through sexual contact.

Chlamydia can be successfully treated with antibiotics.
