Coagulopathy

Overview

In coagulopathy, the blood doesn't clot properly. The condition makes it hard to stop bleeding and increases the risk of death. It often occurs in people who have severe injuries.

Treatments

Treatment involves emergency hospital care, vitamin K injections, and fresh frozen plasma or clotting-factor transfusions.
