Cryptorchidism

Overview

An undescended testicle is generally rare in full-term babies, but common in baby boys born prematurely.

Symptoms

Not seeing or feeling a testicle where it's expected to be in the scrotum is the main sign of crytorchidism.

Treatments

The testicle usually moves into the proper position on its own within a few months. If it doesn't, it can be relocated by surgery.
