Overview

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease occurring in tropical and subtropical areas.

Symptoms

Symptoms are high fever, rash, and muscle and joint pain. A severe case causes severe bleeding and shock, and can lead to death.

Treatments

Treatment includes fluids and pain-relievers. Severe cases require hospital care.
