Overview

Dislocation of hip is an injury in which the hipbone is displaced from its normal position.

Symptoms

A hip dislocation is painful, making it hard to move the leg. There may be tingling or numbness.

Treatments

Immediate medical treatment is needed. Treatments include pushing the bone in place by hand, surgery, a splint, medication, and rehabilitation.
