Endometrial polyp


Overview

An endometrial polyp is a growth attached to the inner wall of the womb (uterus). Uterine polyps are usually noncancerous. Polyp size varies. Polyps are common in women who are undergoing or have completed menopause.

Symptoms

Signs include irregular menstrual bleeding and bleeding after menopause.

Treatments

Treatments include medication and surgery.
