Overview

Erythema multiforme minor is a skin condition mostly caused by an infection, such as herpes.

Symptoms

The condition looks like a red rash. Sores on the palms may be surrounded by pale rings. The rash may burn or itch.

Treatments

The rash usually clears up by itself. Treatments can include antibiotics for the infection and creams to relieve itching.
