Overview

A fibroma is a noncancerous tumor made up of fibrous or connective tissue.

Symptoms

Often, fibromas may not cause symptoms. Many shrink on their own.

Treatments

If symptoms occur, a doctor can evaluate the fibroma. If need be, it can be removed with minimally invasive surgical procedures.
