Overview

Gallbladder disease involves conditions affecting the gallbladder, an organ that helps digestion. Most gallbladder diseases are caused by gallstones. Gallbladder cancer, inflammation, and infection also are possible.

Abdominal pain and nausea are some symptoms.

Treatments

Treatment may include medications or gallbladder removal.
