Ganglion cyst

Overview

A ganglion cyst is a noncancerous lump, often on the tendons or joints of wrists and hands.

Symptoms

A ganglion cyst is round and small. It can be painful if it presses a nerve. The condition can interfere with joint movement.

Treatments

A ganglion cyst often clears on its own. If troublesome, it can be drained or removed.
