Genital wart

Overview

Genital warts are small, fleshy bumps on the genitals. They're a common sexually transmitted infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Treatments

Genital warts can be treated with prescription medication applied directly to the warts or can be surgically removed. Vaccines can protect against many genital-wart-causing strains of HPV.
