Symptoms

In most cases, there are no symptoms. A blood sugar test during pregnancy is used for diagnosis.

Treatments

Treatment strategies include daily blood sugar monitoring, a healthy diet, exercise and monitoring the baby. If blood sugar is too high, medication is needed.
