Gonorrhea


Overview

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection.

Symptoms

Symptoms of gonorrhea include painful urination, abnormal discharge from the penis or vagina, testicle pain or swelling, and pain in the belly or pelvis in women. However, gonorrhea may cause no symptoms.

Treatments

Gonorrhea can be treated with antibiotics. If untreated, it may lead to infertility.
