Overview
Henoch-Sch�nlein purpura affects the small blood vessels of the skin, joints, intestines, and kidneys. It's most common before age 7 but can affect anyone.
Symptoms
Symptoms include reddish-purple spots on the lower extremities, swollen, sore joints, abdominal pain, or bloody urine.
Treatments
The condition usually resolves, but serious high blood pressure and kidney complications can occur.
