Hepatitis

Overview

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. There are different types of hepatitis, such as hepatitis A, B, and C. Each is named for the virus that causes it. Other causes of hepatitis include alcohol or drug use or an immune system response.

Symptoms

Loss of appetite and jaundice are some symptoms.

Treatments

Treatments may include drugs and surgery.
