Ingrown hair


Overview

Ingrown hair is a condition in which a shaved or tweezed hair grows back into the skin, causing inflammation. It's common in black males ages 14 to 25 but can affect anyone.

Symptoms

p>The main signs are small, solid bumps and small, pus-filled blisters.

Treatments

Not removing hair or using methods such as laser hair removal can prevent the condition.
