Myelofibrosis
Overview
Myelofibrosis disrupts blood cell production. It results in scarring in the bone marrow (fibrosis). This leads to weakness, fatigue, and, often, an enlarged spleen and liver. Myelofibrosis is a type of chronic leukemia, a cancer.
Treatments
Treatment may not be needed early on. Later, treatment aims to relieve symptoms.
