Neonatal acne

Overview

Acne in babies (neonatal acne) usually appears on the cheeks, nose, and forehead.

Symptoms

Babies also develop tiny white bumps known as milia.

Treatments

Baby acne isn't preventable and usually goes away on its own. If the acne lasts several months, a pediatrician may recommend a medicated cream.
