Photodermatitis


Overview

Photodermatitis is a condition in which the skin gets inflamed from exposure to the sun or ultraviolet radiation.

Symptoms

It usually occurs on exposed parts of the body including the face, arms, and legs. The skin may blister, ooze, crust, or flake off.

Treatments

Sunblock or clothing coverage when outdoors helps prevent it. Treatments may include creams.
