Pus

When to make a doctor’s appointment

  • Area is increasing in size
  • On face

Self-care

Keep the area clean, apply a topical antibiotic and don't try to squeeze the pus out. If there's a boil or pimple, applying warm compresses a few times daily may hasten drainage.
