Overview

Repetitive strain injury impacts muscles, nerves, ligaments, and tendons. These types of injuries are usually caused by overdoing it or using improper technique. They're also more common with age.

Symptoms

Symptoms include tenderness, stiffness, numbness, or tingling in the affected area.

Treatments

Treatment may include anti-inflammatory drugs, physical therapy, ergonomic evaluation, and possibly surgery.
