Spondylosis

Overview

Spondylosis is age-related wear and tear of the spinal disks. It's common and worsens with age. It's often used to describe degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) of the spine.

Symptoms

Most people don't have symptoms.

Treatments

If symptoms occur, treatments include medications, corticosteroid injections, physical therapy, and, sometimes, surgery.
