Tenosynovitis is a painful condition. The hands, wrists, and feet are commonly affected. Common causes are injury, repetitive use, and infection.

Symptoms

Symptoms include pain, swelling, creaking sounds, and difficulty moving a joint.

Treatments

Treatment includes pain relievers, ice, joint immobilization, and, sometimes, physical therapy or surgery.
