Although robotic hysterectomy is generally safe, any surgery has risks. Risks of robotic hysterectomy include:

• Heavy bleeding
• Blood clots in the legs or lungs
• Infection
• Damage to the bladder and other nearby organs
• Adverse reaction to anesthetic
