Honey sage carrots
Serves 4
Tip: To test carrots for doneness, pull out a slice while boiling and check it for tenderness.
- Boil 2 cups sliced carrots for 5 minutes.
- Add 2 teaspoons butter.
- Add cooked carrots.
- Add 2 tablespoons honey.
- Add 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
- Add 1/8 teaspoon salt.
- Saute for 3 minutes.
